The central idea of my sustained investigation is the relationship between human emotion and science. The two are often considered diametrically opposed; emotions being abstract, interpretable and situation-specific, and science being physical, with restricting rules and set patterns. My pieces aim to show that instead of being opposites, they are more like integral parallels. Yes, they have their set differences, but they also intersect in subtle ways that can be direct, or metaphorical. ​
