Theatre tech began as a back-up after I quit swimming in the winter of 2018, but it has grown to be a particular passion of mine. As the most experienced fine artist on the team, I am often assigned the detailed aspects of the set, whether it be an old-timey map, moldy cell walls, or a giant backdrop of swirling clouds. I enjoy working on larger scale art and love teaching others the small, seemingly insignificant painting techniques that can make or break the believability of a piece.
